 Got ants?

Get clove bud and peppermint essential oils.

Commercial bug sprays are loaded with toxic chemicals like DEET. You don’t want this stuff on your skin or in your lungs.

Clove bud oil is effective against ants because its strong scent masks the smell of the food trail. Peppermint oil is also has a strong aroma and is great for ridding your home of ants and other pests.

Caution – use caution when working with clove bud oil if you are pregnant or have liver disease.

Remedies:

Simply soak a cotton ball in peppermint essential oil and place around the house to prevent ants. This also works well to prevent mice and can substitute for mothballs in your dresser or closet.
